@aprilxcushman is an award-winning, multi-genre songwriter who has written songs for artists in the pop, country, bluegrass, CCM, and gospel space. After years of writing for other artists, the Lord invited her to give her testimony a melody, and in 2023, Cushman released her debut album “Deep Waters”. Telling her story of pain, grief, redemption and God’s steadfast love and faithfulness in every moment. Since then, April’s music ministry has been a megaphone of God’s goodness and power. April spends her days writing and singing songs of praise to the One who heals, restores and makes a way. She is a worship leader, prayer warrior, a wife to Trey and a mom to three precious kids—they call Nashville home.
